Hotel and location:

This elegant design-led 4* hotel occupies a superb location just 50 metres from the golden beach and within a short walk of the Diagonal Mar shopping centre. Excellent transport links make the centre of Barcelona easily accessible in just 15 minutes and the nearest metro stop is a mere 2 minute walk from the hotel. The centre of Barcelona holds a wealth of delights including the mile long boulevards of Las Ramblas which are home to chic cafés, funky bars and charming street entertainers. From Catalunya Square at the top of Las Ramblas you can take a stroll along the Passieg de Gracia, here there are some excellent boutiques and fantastic modernist and art nouveau architecture; including La Pedera and other magnificent works by Barcelona`s most famous son Antonio Gaudi. Please note during Fair Periods reservations will be subject to separate cancellation terms and bookings of 8 or more rooms at any time may be subject to group cancellation policies imposed by the hotel.

Room and hotel facilities:

All 364 rooms are contemporary and offer free Wifi internet access, direct-dial telephone, free soft drink minibar and either panoramic views over the beach or across the city skyline. The Princess Crown bar is situated on the 23rd floor next to one of the hotel`s 2 swimming pools and has breath-taking views over Barcelona; alternatively The Corner bar situated on the ground floor and is the perfect place to relax with a cool beer or cocktail. Guests can sample delectable, modern Mediterranean cuisine in the onsite Estrella restaurant which is open daily serving buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has excellent leisure facilities including a gymnasium and a sauna.

Getting there:

BY METRO: From the city centre take Metro Line number 4 departing at El Maresme Forum station. From the station walk towards the beach-front. At the intersection with Avenida Diagonal on the left you will see the hotel (2 min walk approx from station). BY BUS: Number 7 bus stops directly outside the hotel (goes direct to city centre and back). DRIVING: The quickest way to reach the hotel is taking the ring roads (Rondas) of Barcelona. If you are coming by the Ronda Litoral, you have to take exit (salida) no. 24. Continue on the Calle de Taulat (Taulat street) until you reach the Plaza de Llevant (in front of the hotel) and the Avenida Diagonal. If you are coming by the Ronda de Dalt, you have to take exit (salida) no. 24. Continue by the side-road until you reach Calle Josep Pla (Josep Pla street) and than you turn into the Avenida Diagonal.

Cancellation Terms:Cancellations: Please note the Barcelona Princess requires 16 day`s notice for cancellation during fair periods. Cancellations made within 8 to 15 days of arrival will incur 50% of the cost of the full booking, and within 7 days of arrival, the full cost of stay will be charged. City Tax: The authorities in Barcelona have levied a tourist tax of 1.21 Euro per person per day (maximum 7 day charge) which is payable at the hotel on arrival and not included in the above room rate.
