The Lighthouse, one of the first public commissions by Charles Rennie Mackintosh, is a 10 minute walk from the hotel, as is the Gallery of Modern Art. BY TRAIN: Glasgow Queen Street Station. Exit the station onto North Hanover Street, turn right and follow this to George Square, turn left and follow West George Street and the hotel is on the right hand side after 200 yards.
BY CAR: From the south, approach Glasgow city centre on the M8 motorway, exiting at Junction 18 which leads onto Bothwell Street. Turn 4th left onto West Campbell Street, then 2nd right onto West George Street. Follow West George Street down the hill and round the church at the bottom - the hotel is just after the church on the left-hand side of the road.
