The Crowne Plaza Hotel Glasgow is located on the edge of the River Clyde. It is ideally situated for visitors attending an event at SEC Centre, OVO Hydro and SEC all of which are adjacent to the hotel. Also a short stroll away are Glasgow Science Centre and BBC Scotland. The hotel is also just a 5-minute walk from Ibrox Stadium, home to Rangers football club.
Crowne Plaza Glasgow has 283 spacious rooms, many with river views. Amenities include Smart TV with Freeview, air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi and mini-fridge Larger Premium Rooms with river views and Suites also offer access to the Club Lounge on the 15th floor. During their stay guests have use of the indoor heated swimming pool, fully equipped gym, sauna, spa and steam room. Spa treatments are also available, these should be arranged and paid for directly with the hotel. The Mariner Restaurant located on the ground floor, serves breakfast every morning, which can be added during the booking process and dinner in the evening. Drinks and food are served throughout the day in the Mariner Bar & Lounge.

Only problem was the shortage of public transport into the city centre from the hotel area, the service was very infrequent, only during the middle of the day and non-existent on Sundays....
