The Mespil

The Mespil exudes a friendly and inviting atmosphere and is situated in the heart of Georgian Dublin. The hotel is ideally located just off Baggot Street within a 15-20 minute walk of St Stephen`s Green and the shopping area of Grafton Street and historic Trinity College. Positioned on the south side of Dublin City centre, the hotel is easily accessed from Dun Laoghaire and Rosslare ferry terminals. From the airport, you can take the Airport Bus to Leeson Bridge which is a 5 minute walk to the Mespil Hotel. Please note : The Mespil Hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment work until 11th March 2016. During the month of January 2016, the Lobby, Bar & Restaurant will have limited access and service due to this upgrade work.

The Mespil rooms are truly spacious, more akin to what we would expect in a 4 star hotel. All offer ensuite private bathrooms, multi-channel TV, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee facilities, modem link and hairdryer. Wifi broadband internet access is also available thoughout the hotel. The Terrace Bar is the ideal place to relax after a busy day where you can enjoy some tantalising dishes from the stylish Glaze Bistro. The hotel has recently opened a fully equipped, air-conditioned gym for resident use.

FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT BY AIRPORT BUS: Take the Airport bus to Leeson Bridge, then a 5 minute walk alongside the river on Mespil Road will take you to the Mespil Hotel
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT BY CAR : Follow signs for the centre of Dublin and then O`Connell Street. Drive down O`Connell Street and over O`Connell bridge. On the south side of the bridge take the left fork that faces you (not the road along the south bank of the river) onto D`Olier Street. Turn right at the end of D`Olier Street onto College Street and follow the road around Trinity College. Keep to the left with Trinity immediately to your left (avoid the fork around to the right). This will take you onto Nassau Street on the southern edge of Trinity College. Take the third right off Nassau Street into Kildare Street. Turn left at the end of Kildare Street onto the northern edge of St Stephen`s Green. Continue straight on at the end of the Green onto Merrion Row which soon becomes Baggot Street. After a quarter of a mile this will take you over Dublin canal. On the south bank of the canal, turn right into Mespil Road. The hotel is on the left.
