Overnight stay

Myself, my wife and our young grandson stayed here for just one night whilst in Birmingham for a family birthday. When we arrived at 4.30pm there was a wedding taking place, so most of the bar and the restaurant was taken by this. Our room was located in a rear extension, well away from the wedding party. The room itself was plenty big enough and the bathroom was absolutely fine, the shower was not over powerfully but was nice and hot. When we left at around 6.30pm, the wedding had moved into the restaurant, so there was plenty of room in the bar area. We returned at 1.00am, and the wedding was pretty much done. The bed was nice and large and for a hotel, was one of the more comfortable ones that I have slept in. The breakfast was the self serve buffet type, but this did not detract from the fact that it was fine. Overall, I would quite happily recommend this hotel to family and friends and would certainly stay there again....

Country hotel in heart of Birmingham

We have hotel breaks in Birmingham a few times each year and this is the best to date. The room was slightly more expensive but well worth it. The breakfast was lovely and we had an evening meal in the a la carte restaurant and that too was very good....
