Only Michelangelo`s design for the internal façade was executed, and popular belief is that the symbols allude to Pio`s origins not from the famous Florentine family but from a family of Milanese barbers.

Stayed here for the Rome marathon for 4 nights. Good Location and extremely nice staff. The room a bit small but what do you want for the great price. I would stay again....

A great hotel full of Roman character. A good location once you master the buses, especially the very useful number 62. The staff were very helpful and the room clean and very comfortable, especially the bed. The buffet breakfast was a great start to the day. A good variety of rotating market stalls outside. Would stay there again....

Managed to up grade our room to superior room ,by printing a voucher which i printed from trip advisor on the day of arrival. we had a lovely time in rome,lovely room with nice views....
