Hotel was walking distance to all amenities but sufficiently distant to allow a good night`s sleep. However, guests in basement rooms facing the main road (not the road that the main entrance is on) can occasionally be wakened by noise outside. I got a free upgrade and the staff were exceptionally helpful when I was taken unwell. The decor is very nice and everything looks recently renovated. There was a safe in the room which was easy to use and a flat screen tv with CNN and quite a lot of other good channels. Reception staff, bar staff and security staff were exceptionally good and went above and beyond the call of duty.
