"staff exceptionally helpful and breakfast good."
Overall I felt that with just a couple of changes this hotel could be in the GOOD category. Didn`t expect too much but as i have pointed out the staff were exceptionally helpful. If outdated curtains were replaced by decent ones to fit the windows and the horrible outdated bed covers were taken away I feel this would totally alter the feel of shabiness to o.k. Overall the hotel was good value for money for a short stay.

"Good hotel for 2 stars. Convenient location for the city"
A bit tired but beds & rooms were clean and food was good. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. As so many people use the hotels for weekend breaks and can`t carry glass mirrors in hand luggage (I don`t think so anyway!) it would be really useful to have a magnified mirror attached to the wall in the bathrooms.

"Very pleasant and helpful staff"
Positives- Very pleasant and helpful staff. Room reasonable for a B&B.Negatives- Very small en-suite toilet/shower. Room at the front of the hotel very noisy from 0500 with traffic/trucks? Curtain not sufficient, stayed in May room fully lit from daylight by 0500. Lift broken throughout stay. Big problem lack of parking. Private resident parking outside and not available to hotel. Alternatives are single line/meter parking and involves making sure you get up at 0800 to move your car.Wouldn`t stay again, however pleasant enough B&B if you haven`t got a car and don`t want to sleep past 0600.
