"Staff very helpful, hotel clean and comfortable but floors creaky and guests above us were noisy."
This hotel was very clean and beds were comfortable. We found that the en-suite was very tiny and we are all quite slim!The staff were very friendly and helpful. When I enquired about gluten free bread, the waitress when straight away and found some plus some gluten free cereals.As this is an old building the floors were creaky and the guests above us were very noisy. Their voices came through the ceiling clearly!All in all a reasonable base to stay for a short visit to London.

We had a one night stay at The Georgian House which was only a short time to make any judgement. However is was clean, in good repair and comfortable. Towels and bedding were good quality and we slept well. We didn`t eat there so I cannot comment on choice, price, service or quality. My only dissatisfaction is that they didn`t reply to my email when I first booked, otherwise I think I would have rated them as excellent. No doubt this was an oversight as staff were pleasant and courteous.

Hotel was clean, but we asked for a twin room, we had a double bed and a sofa type bed, plus we were moved to the Bower House which was down the road and round the corner, which is not what we wanted, there wasn`t a telephone to be able to contact reception in case of an emergency, mattress and boxes blocking exit door, plus we were below street level. Dont think I would use this hotel again.

Great Location , Rooms at the back nice and quite. Clean and well run. All the staff very polite including going to get a cab for us in the rain to avaid a 5.00 surcharge had the taxi been called by the hotel. Would use this place and recomend it.

"Overall our stay at the Georgian House was just right for us - very comfortable beds and good value"
The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. The room had all the basics for a comfortable night`s stay, plus several welcome extras - for example: flowers, - a nice touch!; good filter coffee as well as plenty of milk, tea sugar, and biscuits; fluffy towels in presentation folds; extras pillows and a cushion for each bed; spotless linen. The shower room was also spotless, and provided large, full containers of shampoo, conditioner and body lotions; the water was hot at all times. Since we were out all day from 7.30 to late at night, we did not have chance to try the dining room, and did not need a lounge. In a convenient position, just a short walk from the Victoria Coach, Rail and Underground Stations, it was perfect for both our sight-seeing and business purposes. Thank you!

The hotel was in a great position to the Theatre and the railway/underground. Room was clean but small and basic. found the bathroom tiny. However, for one night it did its job. I would stay there again because of the convenient location.

"Well Appointed and Great Service"
Well appointed rooms and great service, very friendly and welcoming. Fire Regulations need to be adhered to however. We were based in the lower ground floor and the corridor leading to the room (that also led to the fire exit), had mattresses stored along. In addition bags of what looks like cement were stored outside the fire door and on the steps leading up to the pavement! Still at least there was no fire, so all was good.

"value for money good breakfast"
Basic hotel, nothing fancy, rooms adequate, tea and coffee making in rooms - though not mentioned on check in and found hidden in drawer just before leaving! Worth paying £8.95 for Full breakast - very good service.

"Clean is best I can say"
We had a room on 4th floor no lifts, not too bad porter help with cases to attic room. Mmain failing was bathroom, sit on the loo with legs to one side and elbows in the sink, not joking. Best I could say for London I guess for a room for three it was fair vaule, I did not feel the need to complain or that I had been ripped off.

"Good location and excellent service"
The hotel itself was ok. We stayed in the B&B section which was quite basic. However, the location of the hotel and service we recieved from the staff was excellent. I would stay there again!

"Great two day break for first time in London"
A well located hotel that provided all we needed for our first visit to London. Although the rooms were small, the value was just right. We were happy with the service given and would come back again. Definitely recommend this hotel.

my single room was tiny, but well-appointed and spotlessly clean. towels were clean and soft, bed was comfortable, en-suite all brand new - needed somewhere to hang towels. Quite a climb up multiple flights of stairs to reach my room; I assume there was a lift, but didn`t see it. Best surprise was the excellent breakfast, very good menu, well-served and presented. Staff were friendly. Finally, the building itself was full of character and history, the location was ideal, just a few minutes from Victoria station. Overall good value for the money, would definitely stay there again.

"Convenient for an overnight visit."
My single room was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel; more of a converted corridor than a room. That said, it was clean, everything worked and the staff were courteous and helpful.

"Couldnt fault it for the price"
Slight communication problems as all staff are Polish (or Eastern European?) but other than that was very clean, large rooms, lovely breakfast, quiet and 5 mins walk from shops, trains and theatres - ideal! Would highly recommend.

"Small, clean, pleasant."
We stayed at the Georgian House for one night whilst visiting London for a concert. It was within easy walking distance of Victoria. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The twin beds were comfortable, and although the shower room was on the small side it was quite adequate for our needs. The only down side was the lack of a lift as we were on the top floor. Would certainly stay again.

quiet location, bit of a trek to theatre on underground.En-suite very tiny. Clean, firm but comfortable beds. Breakfast very disappointing, food obviously kept warm, not cooked freshly and continental breakfast was a poor show and croissants were stale

"Georgian House: Friendly and Convenient to Victoria."
This hotel is conveniently situated just a few minutes walk from the coach station. The staff are friendly, approachable and very helpful. The room was immaculate and very well presented. I will definitely be back next time I am in London.
