"Excellent Location Very short walk from Victoria"
Excellent position a 5 min walk to Buckingham Palace. In fact did not use the tube once and visited Westminster and went to the theatre amoungst other things.Excellent Breakfast and Friendly service. Rooms slightly tired looking and awful view but not that bad to upset our stay.

"A smart and well appointed hotel, well located in central London"
While the hotel is spacious, some of the rooms are a little cramped. What lets the hotel down the most though is the quality of the cooked (poorly cooked and not very warm) breakfast which left a lot to be desired.Staff are very polite and competent.

the hotel was excellent clean friendly staff rooms were lovely breakfast was really good the only down side was that unfortunately it was cold but other wise was a very enjoyable break.

"3* Superior"
Like a lot of reviews say, this is not a 4* hotel - The rooms are too small and it lacks facilities for that! I think a 3* Superior would be a good call but that`s not to say it`s a bad hotel. It`s clean, tidy, modern, the rooms are not tiny, it`s very conveniently situated and good value for central London. Watch out for the AC if you are staying in the summer - It`s not very efficient and it`s noisy!

Hotel location was perfect, very central for all the sights in London, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and tidy. We would of liked a bit more milk for our tea but apart from that all was good.

"not 4 star quality"
found the room narrow and the shower was very eratic making me have to have a cold shower on my last day,the breakfast on my last day was unedible,the bacon was disgusting and very overcooked the potatoes were cold and overdone,i complained and the waiter brought me some fresh bacon followed by some fresh underdone potatoes i left the lot ,the hotel verall was fine and a great location but let down by the above comments,really in 4star hotels in 2012 should we have shower curtains,as i said would stay again but only only ona deal

"fantastic value as a hidden gem booking"
Overall I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Having never booked a hidden gem i was afraid it might not be as good as described but im pleased to say itwas better. Location was excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was lovely. More than happy with our room and the breakfast, would definately stay at this hotel and book a hidden gem again

"very ugly building from the outside....bit off putting!"
This hotel is in a great location, minutes from buckingham palace etc. rooms are standard, breakfast good and staff very helpful, however the outside is ugly! We walked past it and in to The Rubens Hotel as we didnt for a minute think that the 1960`s concrete `office block` could possibly be our 4 star `hidden gem`.

Lovely rooms, really friendly staff. Close to rail, coach and tube stations. Plenty of places to eat and drink nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

You should inform the Deaf customers that the subtitled channels have controlled and in specific channels which I have find myself for a subtitle channel!

"Everything you would want in a hotel and great location"
Situated within a few minutes walk of Victoria Station this hotel is a good base for most of the sight seeing in London, although you would have to take the tube to the eastern sights. Hotel was comfortable and has everything you need (including tea and coffee making facilties in the room) Breakfast was a bit manic and had to keep waiting for the buffet to be toppped up but it was the Jubilee bank holiday so may be better in a normal weekend.

Thistle Westminser accomodated us in a "huge" room 2x2 double beds & a sofa bed.The staff were very good & the Concierge extremely helpful.Buffet style breakfast with a choice of full English or Continental also very good.From a personal point of view my sister found the bath too high to get into and also the hand basin (with hindsight, I should have requested a room suitable for disabled as my sister has limited mobilty)Overall though very good location was excellent for Victoria station & the open top bus tours start right outside.

"Good Hotel"
Perfect hotel for our party of four. Great location near to Victoria station and underground .All tourist spots within very easy reach. Hotel pretty basic looking on outside but most are. Inside , the rooms were nice.Decor was good and rooms very clean and beds comfortable. The staff were very willing and helpful. Breakfast was impressive. Omlettes with various fillings made to order as well as all the usual full English breakfast things. We even managed to get vegetarian sausages when we asked. The mini danish pastries were homemade and really good, you could have hams,cheese, fruit etc too ,if you wanted. Would highly recommend hotel ,especially for the reduced prices and would definitely return

should be a 3 star rating not 4 star. The room was dark and building works started at 8.30am.. The brreakfast was good. This hotel was tired looking and needs a modern refurbishment.
