"Very convenient for sightseeing "

Tower Hotel is in a convenient location. It is popular and so busy. Check in terminals avoided queuing. The room was clean and comfortable. The only problem was the air conditioning unit. It was set at 27degC and couldn`t be turned down or turned off which made for a hot night. Reception told us next morning that all rooms were linked to the one system and the temperature couldn`t be changed. They provided a fan.

Excellent location. Self check in didn`t work and then checking in with a human took far longer than it needed to. Room was quite run down and dated but was nice enough for one night. Location made up for any negatives.

We had a lovely view over the Thames & Bridge. The bathroom was very tired and needs a refurb but on the whole our room was nice. The hotel were very accommodating and made sure as it was a Birthday celebration that we had a bottle of wine in the room and a cake all complimentary which was a nice touch - THANK YOU!

Amazing view of Tower bridge but no air con just a really noisy desk fan. The room had no USB ports to enable phone charging. Only 1 large towel provided in bathroom.

Unfortunately our room was in a terrible state of repair broken draws broken shower rotten bathroom door bad air conditioning and really dirty we even found prescription pills under the sideboard all in all I would really except a full refund from the hotel as it was completely unexplainable

Hotel was fab Great location for Tower Bridge But very disappointed with the location to the theatre I booked a package presuming this would make the hotel within walking distance of the theatre! It was an hours walk away and 35mins in a taxi !!

Trouble with hot water

The hotel was mostly very good however there was construction work going on which meant that we couldn`t manage air conditioning and there was a lot of noise on the Friday afternoon when we arrived. We were able to book in straight away around 2pm which was great. We had 3 rooms my room was for single occupancy which was fine bed was very comfortable. At 6 am in the morning I was woken by the staff only door adjacent to my room 207 it would beep and then clash shut loudly and often staff talking loudly this went on relentlessly until I left my room around 10 am. It was impossible to sleep though this noise. Same again happened on the Sunday morning from around 6:45. I brought it to the attention of staff when I checked out on Sunday morning. The other 2 rooms in our booking did not experience this. My sister was a bit freaked out when she noticed a Rentokil box underneath her bed ??

"Could do alot better!"

Despite having booked online, when it came to electronic check-in nothing was prefilled despite having had details for weeks. Entered room, faulty air flow system. Rang reception to report it, nothing done. Spoke with reception and hour later to be told their were lots of issues throughout the hotel. Air flow system never fixed despite one of the hottest weekends this year! Extremely disappointed. DON`T CHOOSE THIS HOTEL!!!

Fantastic location. Booked the room with the view and well worth it. Unfortunately the AC was not working and would normally be fine but we were in the heatwave. They did provide us with a fan. Really good breakfast and lovely staff

"Pleasant stay with a fantastic view"

Had a pleasant stay and our view was spectacular. The hotel does however need a drastic renovation. Outside is grubby looking concrete. Inside is very dated too. There`s no air-conditioning which also would be an improvement. Although there`s a few negatives, the staff were great and very helpful.

Excellent room, large and airy, with lovely view of the dock. Good choice for breakfast. Well situated with easy access to tube or bus and within walking distance of many attractions. Can recommend Jack the Ripper Museum

The hotel was lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The views from outside the hotel really made the visit.

"Tower hotel"

Excellent location, lots of restaurants, cafes and Tesco express a few minutes away. St Katharine`s dock is located behind the hotel and was well worth visiting - very pretty with a choice of places to eat and drink.The hotel rooms are spacious (although a little dated). Beds were comfortable, bath with overhead shower, safe and iron/ ironing board. No mini bar but complimentary bottled water in room. The food at the hotel was good, wide choice for breakfast and evening meals were good (although we only ate at the hotel restaurant one evening) My only negative is the building work being carried out, which we were not informed of.Nevertheless, I would stay here again.

Hotel location was fantastic. The hotel was nice but there were renovations taking place throughout the day that we did not know about, so it was quite noisy when we were around the hotel. There were no toilets available in the bar/restaurant which is not ideal when having a meal and a few drinks. Our room 447 had an issue with water continuously flow out of the bath overflow metal grate, which was really annoying when were we sleeping

The hotel is in a fabulous location. The bedrooms are now a little old-fashioned but workable. Unfortunately, the bathroom let the whole place down ? there was rust around the fittings in the bathroom, the tiles and shower curtain were dirty ? there was pink mould on them. And unfortunately, there were patches of black mould on the ceiling.

Great location but the rooms are looking tired and are in need of updating. Breakfast is not worth the money, much cheaper 5 mins walk away. The restaurant offer ?pub food? you do feel that you`re paying for a view rather than the facility the hotel

"The Tower "

What a lovely hotel, beautifully clean. Staff were so helpful and nice. Tried the resturant and had a wonderful meal. Tried the cocktail bar one to many times128558;128558;. Such a good position lovely to see the bridge at night. Would love to stay again
