Room and facilities

Each spaciously designed bedroom is fully ensuite with bath and shower. Rooms come complete with satellite TV and radio, telephone, trouser press, in room safe, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The newly refurbished Break for the Border is a Mediterranean style restaurant offering 3 expansive floors; with bar, nightclub and a 140-seater restaurant, please note that this is only open over the weekend. Additionally the hotel offers complementary entry to 12 leading Dublin centre bars and night clubs including Zanzibar, Cafe.

Drury Street car park. Midweek overnight Euro 6.35. Weekends - Fri 4pm to Sunday noon, Euro 19.05. No departures allowed during these periods. Otherwise Euro 2.90 per hour.

Getting there

FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT BY AIRPORT BUS: Take the Airport bus to O`Connell Street in the centre. We suggest you then take a cab - the distance to the hotel is about 1.5 miles. If you wish to walk please see directions from O`Connell Street below .
FROM DUBLIN AIRPORT BY CAR: If driving from the Airport, follow signs to `City Centre`. Arriving into the city follow signs for O`Connell Street passing through Drumcondra onto Dorset Street. Turn left onto North Frederick Street, bringing you onto O`Connell Street, Dublins main thoroughfare. Continue down O`Connell Street and cross over O`Connell Bridge onto D`Olier Street. At the top of D`Olier St (at traffic lights) take a right turn onto College Street veering to the left and following around the railing at Trinity College. At the main entrance to Trinity College, following the one-way system taking a right turn onto Dame Street. Continue through the next two sets of traffic lights and at the third take a left onto Georges Street. Continuing up Georges street take the fourth turn left onto Stephens Street Lower (i.e. the one after Fade Street). The hotel is located about 80 meters up on the right hand side.

This friendly hotel is in a perfect location for Temple Bar, Grafton Street and St Stephen`s Green. Whenever I`m in Dublin this is my prefer hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful, I would definitely recommend this hotel....

Great Hotel

I have stayed here several times, always enjoyed my stay, staff are so helpful and friendly, rooms are good although a little tired but always clean. I will be back in the new year for sure...

Value for money

My husband and I had a lovely four day mid week break in this very centrally situated hotel near Grafton Street? The bedroom was clean, comfortable and heated to a good temperature. Wi fi was free and breakfast was very good value for the price....
