Pigalle Metro station is a 5-minute walk from the hotel and a 10 minute journey from Gare du Nord and hte Eurostar terminal. Within 15 minutes walk is the world famous Moulin Rouge. Galeries Lafayette and Le Printemps are all within 15 minutes walk of the hotel, with the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre a short Metro journey away. PLEASE NOTE: Tourist Tax of 5.53Euro per person per night is payable at hotel.
The 3* Hotel George has 46 rooms, some with terrace. All are fully air-conditioned and include free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, flat-screen TV and ensuite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Buffet Continental breakfast, which can be added during the booking process, is served in the lobby dining area.

Very clean and tidy hotel. All the basic needs. Good strong shower and fairly quiet road Friendly and professional staff and very reasonable rates. Room sizes quite small but normal for Central Paris....

I booked this hotel at the very last moment and was not disappointed. The outside appearance was very deceiving and once in the door was welcomed into a recently modernised and brightly lit atmosphere. Compared with surrounding hotels the rates were very reasonable. This is just the place for anyone needing convenient accomodation for a visit to Paris. This must be rated at the high end of the three star rating it has been given....

Four guys - Paris RWC semifinals. We are used to "rugby hotels" , generally around Pigalle in rubbish streets, barely clean etc. We booked the George Opera through Hotels Direct, were bounced from our first choice onto the George, so were expecting the same As we walked down from Place Clichy, it all seemed to be going to the bad usual scenario; and then, in the last 100 yards, the street looked up and we found what was essentially a good value semi boutique hotel- small rooms but everything else clean, fresh, great service, nice breakfast space -we liked it and the neighourhood downhill...
