The Cliffden Hotel

The 3* Cliffden Hotel is situated above Teignmouth Beach, around 10 minutes walk from the railway station and town centre. Teignmouth Lido, a heated outdoor swimming pool overlooking the sea, is a 5-walk minute from the hotel. As well as enjoying the long sandy beaches, guests can pay a visit to the Shaldon Wildlife Trust Zoo which is 1.4 miles from the hotel. Another of Devon`s traditional seaside towns, Dawlish, is just a 6-minute drive or 5-minute train journey. Those wishing to travel further afield will find the city of Exeter a 35-minute drive or 30-minute train journey away.

The Cliffden Hotel, set in 7 acres of gardens and with direct access to the beach has 47 individually styled rooms. All are ensuite and in-room amenities include free Wi-Fi, tea & coffee making facilities, hairdryers and flat-screen TV. The hotel`s Club rooms have the best sea views and a small number also have a balcony. During their stay guests have use of the hotel`s indoor swimming pool. The restaurant which overlooks the gardens and beyond to the sea is open for breakfast every morning from 7.30am, which is served in a buffet style with hot and cold dishes. Lunch and dinner are also served daily as well as Afternoon Tea which guests can enjoy on the hotel terrace in fine weather. Dogs are welcome for an extra charge per night, which should be arranged directly with the hotel.
