The George Hotel

The 4* George Hotel is a 500-year-old coaching inn in the centre of the historic town of Colchester, just 5 minutes walk from the town`s railway station. As Britain`s oldest recorded town and Roman city there are many sites of archaeological interest to visit including Colchester Castle, just 2 minutes from the hotel.

All of the 49 rooms at the George Hotel are individually designed in an elegant style. The age of the building is reflected in the traditional character and charm that is visible throughout the building.
