The room was fabulous, the staff really pleasant and helpful and the hotel is really well situated for access to both the old and the new town. I loved the fact that mobile phones are not allowed in the lounges and the whole place has a beautiful air of quality about it. I would heartily recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Edinburgh.....

Edinburgh can be noisy......so it was a relief to find that a Trip Sdvisor review was correct. If you have one of the rooms at the back (we had room 15) it is on a little mews road and not the main road. The room was very clean and tidy. Well furnished with the added bonus of a mini kitchenette. A good comfy bed and blackout blinds. A great find!...

We have just had the pleasurable experience of a few days at the Royal Scots Club. The staff were more than helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms and facilities have a traditional charm with modern convenience. We would recommend the Royal Scots Club to anyone and will stay there again when next in Edinburgh. Super breakfast too!...
