"Great breakfast!"
Close enough to to the bustle of the city to be easily reached, but far enough out to be able to relax with the tranquility of hyde park and kensington gardens on the doorstep.

found the pictures on the internet nothing like the the actual hotel,we had 3 rooms booked and not one of them resembled the pictures shown. said it had a cocktail bar and it was just a tiny bar that only sold 1 kind of draught beer (very very expensive £6 for pint of beer)

"Beautiful decoration, good sized room, very very clean, attentive hardworking staff"
Never used the Abba hotel group before, but definately would look for them in future. Excellent staff, helpful and friendly, and multilingual. Good sized room, immaculate bathroom and linens, really could not fault it.

"This was meant to be 4 Star. My room smelt of wee!! "
In despereate need of updating. Badly located with no bars or restaurants near by. Over priced hotel bar (£5.88 a pint!!) . Was also unimpressed that they were unable to provide an Iron for me to iron my shirt this morning. This wasn`t an awful hotel but no way should it have been a 4 Star

Abba Hotels is a Spanish Hotel Group. Many of hte staff in the Hotel are Spanish. All are polite and helpful. The rooms are good, though not palatial. Breakfast is excellent with a wide range of buffet options. The location is ideal for the Royal Albert Hall and the museums in South Ken.

"Discount Price; Premium Service"
Booked via Hotel Direct for reduced rate including breakfast. Feared a cloakroom-sized room because of discount, so called in advance and a very helpful Receptionist said he`d try his best to get a nice room for us. On arrival we`d been upgraded to suite - very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Staff couldn`t be more helpful. All within 5 min walk of RAH. Would definitely stay again.

"good location for museums , decor tired"
Although our room looked clean and was very spacious, there was an unpleasant smell which we were unable to trace! Glad we`d only booked for one night and that we weren`t paying the rate advertised at reception.

"n/a"
I must admit that I thought the hotel lobby was a bit shabby and bar was a bit disorganised and a bit overpriced for the ambiance. Having said that, the room was fine and the breakfast perfectly ok. You might suggest to the hotel that they provide toilet brushes.

"Good clean room & Excellent breakfast"
A good family orientated hotel about five minutes walk from the Royal Albert Hall which is exactly what we were looking for. Shame about draught and noise from windows (we did stay in February) would stay again.

"extremely creaky floorboards and uncomfortable bed"
The hotel itself is lovely , buffet breakfast very good but the room above us had very creaky floorboards and we were kept awake the mattress was terrible that I had to cut short my stay as my back was so bad I could barely walk

"Excellent location, friendly staff, clean."
We rate this as one of the best value for money hotels in its class in London. The staff were friendly and proactively helpful at all times. The room was immaculately clean and breakfast was one of the best we have had at any price.Location is excellent, close enough to main sights, quiet at nights, Gloucester Road tube is nearby. We will be returning again and will stay at their hotel in Valencia on a business trip planned for later this year.

A well situated hotel for the South Kensington museums. Within easy walking distance of Knightsbridge. A ten minute easy walk to the Underground station.

"Definately NOT a four star standard hotel"
From the outside this hotel looks very nice and inviting. The location is excellent. I am unsure how this hotel has managed to get 4 star status however. The level of customer service was poor. Maybe its the location! We were not greeted on arrival. We had to guess where our room and the restaurant was as we were not told how to find them. Although the room was large and clean, it lacked aquedate seating (one chair in a triple room!), was poorly decorated and only one radiator worked (despite freezing temperatures outside). There was only enough towels for 2 people despite staying in a triple room! At breakfast, although the choice was great, there was often empty plates/bowls etc that hadn`t been restocked, tables not cleaned and not enough cutlery/plates/bowls/cups. I am used to staying in at least 4 star accomodation whenever I visit London and feel sorry to say this hotel did not live up to my expectations.

"Location, Location, Location"
Although the decor was a little dated (it reminded me somewhat of Faulty Towers), the location is perfect. A 5 minute walk from Gloucester Road tube which is 2 stops from the centre of Knightsbridge. Round the corner is the Natural History Museum and the surrounding area is littered with bars and cafes. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and the facilities were clean. The lift is a little slow and hardly worth it for the number of stairs you have to climb but overall, a good hotel.

"Worst room in the hotel?"
The room was cold which we soon discovered was due to the window being broken and radiators not being on. We were given a `studio` in the basement with no view. It felt clautrophobic, dark and dingy and I would not recommend the hotel to anyone. The broken light bulb was also a nice touch...

"A very clean and well located hotel. However, it needs interior renovation. "
The floor was making funny noises, which was annoying during bed time.

"Room & bathroom very small"
Room & hotel Clean and well presented. Room was vey small not enough space beside the bed on window side. Toilet between bath & wall not enough space for comfort. Lighting at shaving mirror is above and behind shavers head, putting face in shade.

"nice hotel, dont do the room service"
the room was fine and so was the hotel, but we ordered room service (2 x pizzas) and when they came they appeared to be microwaved! not good when the bill for the 2 was about £25.00. if the hotel cant provide decent hot food for room service they should stick to sandwiches!

"The hotel is in a convenient location, near the museums and a tube station. "
Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice and the staff friendly. The room, however, was somewhat dull and dimly lit, although it was December and not much daylight. Overall it was reasonable value for money in this area of London but suitable for only a short stay.

Pleasant, well located traditional London hotel now under new Spanish management. Good value and friendly. Some aspects would benefit from refurbishment. My recent room had a draughty window during a cold snap in December. The (excellent ) buffet breakfast is more Spanish in style than traditional English, and may not suite trenchermen or all children. A good choice for Kensington. The Kings Arms round the corner is a find.
