The Duke of Cornwall hotel is one of Plymouths most iconic landmarks. This 19th-century Victorian hotel is situated close to both the historic Hoe and the Barbican, it is also a short walk to the theatres, restaurants, bars and shops. Plymouth Pavilions provides entertainment ranging from ice skating to stand-up comedy performances and The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is a mere 2 minute walk away. Many guests also enjoy a fun filled day at the award winning National Marine Aquarium which is conveniently just a 20 minute walk from the hotel. During their stay guests should also make time for a visit to Plymouth Distillery which has been operating in the city since 1793 and is just 15 minutes walk away.

The Duke of Cornwall Hotel was the first luxury hotel in Plymouth and prides itself on providing first class accommodation. The hotel boasts 70 beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms and suites, all tastefully decorated to reflect the hotels historic past. Getting there

By CAR: Heading east on the M4, at Junction 17, take the A429/A350 exit to Cirencester/Chippenham. At Stanton St Quintin, take the 5th exit onto the M4 slip road to S Wales/Bristol. After 0.7 miles merge onto M4. After 20 miles at junction 20, take the M5(S) exit to A38/Thornbury/Filton/Bristol(W)/Bristol Arpt. After 0.8 miles keep right and follow signs for M5/Bristol(w)/Airport and merge onto M5. Follow this route for 80 miles and continue onto Devon Expressway/A38(signs for Plymouth/Torquay/A380). After a further 36 miles take the exit towards Plymouth Rd/A374 and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Plymouth Rd/A374. After 2.5 miles at the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on A374. After 0.3 miles turn left onto Breton Side/B3240 and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Vauxhall St/B3240 and continue to follow B3240 for 0.7 miles. Turn left onto Millbay Rd/B3240 and at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto W Hoe Rd. Turn left onto Citadel Rd and the hotel will be on the left.
BY TRAIN:From Plymouth station it is approximately 6 minutes by taxi to the hotel.
