If you are looking to shop you can either head to the bustling Catalonian La Boqueria Market which is a 5 minute walk away or head into the city`s main shopping centre, the Maremagnum, which is only a 20 minute walk from the hotel. The Hotel Barbara is surrounded by many local bars and restaurants, offering a variety of delicious Mediterranean food and drinks. For those looking to relax in the sun, the nearest beach is just a 20 minute metro ride away.

BY METRO: The nearest metro station is Liceu(Green Line 3) Exit metro onto Ramblas and turn south towards the Liceu Theatre. After the Theatre turn right onto Carrer Unio, this street becomes Carrer Marques de Barbera. After some 200 metres you will see the hotel on your right at number 22.
BY FOOT: From the main train station (Sants Estació) take Tarragona street on your right until Plaza de Espanya and turn onto the 3rd avenue on your left, Paral.lel up to the roundabout at Drassanes, where you should take the 3rd turn on your left onto Drassanes Avenue. At approximately 300 metres on your right is Marques de Barbera Street, where the hotel is situated at the begining of the street.

City Tax: The authorities in Barcelona have levied a tourist tax of 0.72 Euro per person per day (maximum 7 day charge) which is payable at the hotel on arrival and not included in the above room rate.
