Morse bar very small and busy Cartoon bar was shut with no alternatives had to find a local pub. Streets around the corner from this Wonderful Hotel were unfortunately very busy with Beggars with large dogs, Junkies, alcoholics and people sleeping rough in doorways who think you are fair game to donate to there life style because you have stayed in a beautiful hotel. My Wife is in a wheelchair so we found it really difficult to get pass these people who deliberately block your way. Our son in law is an Amrican Attorney and found the whole episode upsetting. And has indicated he would not visit Oxford again. Spoilt an otherwise great break....

The concierge desk was particularly helpful, while the reception desk was more business-like. Good location, especially on a wet Sunday, as it is located right in front of the Ashmolean Museum, where tourists can spend hours in enthrallment. The bar was very comfortable, too....
