Easy to get to location in quiet residential area of York. On 2 main bus routes plus a hop on hop off bus.Room very large and bright, beds exceedingly comfortable, shower and toilet area and there accessibility met our needs perfectly and was located next to the lift and on the first floor. Breakfasts were buffet style but if not included in your deal, very expensive. The Hotel is very popular with families with lots of family room accommodation, many dogs were also in residence, there was an excellent activity area for children, a large sun terrace and a varied menu of food available. Staff very friendly and attentive, gave good and helpful advice on transport to York, the city has a highly regulated taxi service that was disabled friendly and well equipped. I am also doing a review of this Hotel for Euan`s Guide which you can view on Euan`s Guide.com. Overall, I would give this Hotel a very honest 8 out 10, the only downside was the breakfast, food and bar prices....
