Stayed the weekend at this lovely hotel. The train station was a 10min walk away. The hotel is on the river and is just over the bridge to the town centre were there are lovely restaurants and bars and a cobbled streets there are fantastic little shop on the quaint streets near the shambles. The hotel staff were very friendly our room was ready early so we checked in it was clean and very nice we didn`t overlook the river which was a shame but we stayed in a three bed it was very comfy. Towels were provided the only downfall was if your bigger the towels were very small so I`d suggest you maybe bring your own there were clean towels everyday and coffee and tea provided in your room also a fan which I was very happy about. I can`t comment on the restaurant as we didn`t use it.We had an 11am checkout but wasn`t leaving till the afternoon and the hotel let us store our luggage till we left for our train. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would highly recommend....
