Just under 2 miles from the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon, the 4* Welcombe Hotel is set in 157 acres of gardens and includes a Spa,indoor 15m pool and 18 hole golf course. As well as visiting Shakespeare`s birthplace and The Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the Swan Theatre on the banks of the River Avon, visitors can also see the town from a cruise on the River Avon. For a family day out the medieval Warwick Castle is also just 7 miles, 25 minutes drive from the hotel.

The 4* Welcombe Hotel is a Grade II listed mansion that combines traditional features with modern amenities and comforts. Some rooms look out over the Italian gardens and have four poster beds. All of the 85 rooms have ensuite bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities. During their stay guests have complimentary use of many of the hotel`s Health Club facilities including the indoor 15m pool, sauna, steam room and gym. A wide variety of Spa treatments are also available, which should be arranged in advance directly with the hotel. The hotel also features an 18-hole golf course, which can also be pre-booked with the hotel. The Trevelyan Restaurant, with views across the hotel gardens serves a full cooked breakfast from 7am-10am (7.30am-10.30am at weekends). A menu of British and Modern European dishes is served every evening form 7pm. Alternatively, for more relaxed dining, salads and lighter bites are also served in the Bar and Lounge.
