Firstly apologies for the delay of this review...I thought I`d sent it as soon as we`d returned!! From the moment of our arriving everyone was very welcoming. On registering we were unexpectedly but happily upgraded to a Superior room!! We loved the room, it was always spotless. The staff were always very friendly & helpful, as usual!! Tipu went out of his way to make sure our stay was a pleasure. The location is amazing & all the staff so very kind & accommodating...The Washington will always be our Hotel of Choice when we visit London!!...

Our first room was less than satisfactory because the bed was pushed up against the wall and so you could only get out one side of it, so I spoke nicely to reception and they upgraded us to a superior room free of charge with no fuss. Excellent. The hotel was lovely with very willing staff. We also had an excellent breakfast and would like to go back there....

We wanted a hotel whereby we could walk to many of our chosen places for a weekend stay in a London, this was absolutely perfect, we visited the Winter Wonderland, Fortnum and Masons, the Critereon Theatre etc very easily on foot. The staff were particularly nice and helpful, the room was ideal and most comfortable, we had lunch at the hotel which was splendid. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic with more than enough choices to suit every palate, we`ll definitely be back....

Wonderful location.EWxcellent Wonderful location with excellent staff. The only criticism is that the shower head in our room (317) was.. well.. cheap and dirty. The shower per se was great however...
