About the show

The Show
Filmed for Sky Arts, Lauren Laverne hosts this concert celebrating the women in Mozart's life.

Join the Orchestra of ENO at the London Coliseum for an evening of Mozart arias.

This one-off concert will be a tour-de-force of female talent directed by ENO's Artistic Director Annilese Miskimmon.

It will star international opera soloists, celebrating the composer's music, written for and inspired by the women in his life.

The concert will be hosted by TV and radio presenter Lauren Laverne and filmed for future broadcast on Sky Arts TV.

Lauren will take us on a journey through the life of one the world's greatest composers, putting the spotlight on the relationships with his real-life leading ladies.

We'll hear the arias sung by Mozart's most famous characters such as the sisters from Così fan tutte ('Ah guarda sorella'), the Queen of the Night from The Magic Flute ('Der Hölle Rache') and Donna Elvira from Don Giovanni ('Mi tradi').

This concert is produced by ENO in partnership with Factory Films for broadcast on Sky Arts.

It is presented in conjunction with the Sky Original limited series Amadeus, starring BAFTA-winning actor Will Sharpe (A Real Pain, The White Lotus season 2), BAFTA and Emmy-nominated British actor Paul Bettany and Gabrielle Creevy.
