About the show

The Show
Tchaikovsky's magical Nutcracker comes back to London this Christmas performed by the English National Ballet. Discover a magical world this Christmas as Clara battles the Mouse King and comes across a handsome stranger. Head from London to the Land of Snow in a hot air balloon and enjoy the beautiful world created by the English National Ballet.

History of Nutcracker
The Nutcracker was originally adapted by Tchaikovsky from "The Nutcracker and the Mouse King" by E.T.A Hoffmann. When the ballet was originally performed it featured choreography by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, unfortunately the ballet was met with very mixed reviews. Since then many performances have come to pass and the show has become a staple of Christmas time and is enjoyed by many. Some major changes since the original include Clara and the Nutcracker prince being played by adults rather than children.
