History of WickedIn 1998 Stephen Schwartz approached Universal to realise his vision of a spectacular Broadway production of Maguire's novel which, after several musical workshops, arrived on Broadway in October 2003 - with the London production following 3 years later in September 2006. Now a two-part cinematic spectacular, the unflinching popularity of this wonderful smash-hit musical shows no signs of waning.
