Hotel Indigo Edinburgh - Princes Street is located in the heart of Edinburgh`s New Town, overlooking the picturesque Edinburgh Castle. As the city`s main shopping street, Princes Street is an excellent location from which guests can explore Edinburgh. As well as the plentiful shopping and dining opportunities, guests can be introduced to emerging artists by Collective in the William Playfair-designed City Observatory which is only a five minute walk away. Alternatively, guests can climb the 287 steps to the top of the Scott Monument only a few streets away from the hotel. For another art fix, guests can adventure to the Scottish National Portrait Gallery which was opened in 1889. The purpose-built gallery celebrates such Scots as Robert Burns, Bonnie Prince Charlie and Billy Connolly.

Great three night stay at the Hotel Indigo Edinbur...

Friendly staff and the room adequate and clean. Lots of breakfast options - continental and traditional breakfast dishes to choose from. Had two evening meals which were excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended....

Perfect location to explore Edinburgh

Rooms very clean & comfortable. Hotel very close to Waverley Station & St Andrew`s Square for team stop. Many good restaurants within walking distance as well as portrait gallery & museum, Hearty breakfast included which sets you up well for the day`s activities. Would certainly stay here again on a future visit to the city!...

Good service and excellent location

Arriving by rail it was just across the road . Reception very good , helpful . Food very good too , although they seemed a bit short staffed for breakfasts . Would definitely use again ....
