Would Definitely Use Again

The Ambassador is in a great location. We had a De-Luxe Double Room. Separate bathroom and toilet. Bed- very comfortable. Room, quiet. No noise from other guests. Cleaning - great. All the staff at EVERY level of service, were friendly, charming and genuinely made us feel welcome. That counts for a lot. The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Drinks in the bar are expensive - but it`s a 4 star hotel in Paris - that`s what you expect. We didn`t eat in the restaurant. There are plenty of bars and brasseries nearby which we used - these are within a few minutes` walk. And there`s a taxi rank just outside the hotel. Never had a problem there. We booked this believing it to be the RADISSON Ambassador. But Hotel Direct had this wrong. They told us at the hotel that for two years it has been a MARRIOTT hotel. Proper name "Paris Marriott Opera Ambassador Hotel". Galeries Lafayette is just up the road...
