Each of the 60 bedrooms have been individually designed for comfort and style in bold turquoise and orange themes. All rooms are fully air-conditioned and feature free Wi-fi, 32 inch HD LCD televisions with satellite channels, min-fridge, tea & coffee making facilities and ensuite bathroom with complimentary, rainfall showers and hairdryer, The contemporary feel of the hotel continues in the lobby lounge and bar. Although there is no onsite restaurant, there is a breakfast room serving a full buffet breakfast every morning.

Good location,helpful and attentative staff.Comfy well decorated room.Only downside was breakfast which was hit and miss if overcooked.Overall recommend and return to....

The Hotel Indigo was a great place to stay, only a short walk from the stationThe hotel consists of 4 Georgian town houses that have been tastefully converted into a hotel. The rooms are great, bathroom good with a rainfall shower. Breakfast excellent with a varied choice. All the staff were helpful with any enquiries we had. Overall could not fault...

A lovely stay again . Staff professional ,very helpful & friendly . The only criticism we had was tge vegetarian brekkie slightly disappointed.....but eh that was our choice to choose it that morning . Thanks for a great stay...

We recently booked a few days at this hotel in York Place for Hogmany and it was amazing. The room,the service and staff were exceptional. The staff were extremely helpful and very kind. We had a great time. The location of the hotel was perfect for getting about Edinburgh. The room and bathroom was of a very high standard and we were made very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone....

We had an overnight stay. The hotel rooms were lovely, clean and staff were very pleasant. Ideal location for Edinburgh Playhouse. We will certainly rebook on our next visit....

We booked for one night, twin room, biggest in the hotel and it didn`t disappoint! The beds were comfy, the bathroom gorgeous, just little bits of house cleaning let it down and the fact our room wasn`t ready until 4:30, however we did get a complimentary drink. We had originally went to the wrong hotel indigo and their direction giving seriously needs improvement! Bar and reception staff were brilliant, friendly and welcoming. I would definitely come here again but for the price, the room should have been immaculate and ready....
