amazing comfortable bed!could have slept forever :-) air con was great as it was very hot.enjoyed the beautiful roof terrace...cant fault this hotel.if you thinking about staying here...don`t hesitate just book it,absolutely no complaints...

This hotel was a wonderful experience in all aspects, the staff are excellent and super efficient and friendly, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the hotel facilities five star. The cellar pool and spa are excellent and the roof top pool, terrace and bar are exceptional. The central location of this hotel makes it ideal for exploring the city, especially the old city. I will certainly return to stay in this hotel again...

Perfectly situated for central Barcelona, the hotel was cool, calm, very attractive in a tasteful way. The food was excellent. The terrace and spa were delightful. Our room was large, comfortable and very well equipped. Above all the obvious qualities the efficiency and friendliness of all the staff was a highlight....

Had a great time at this hotel from start to finish, booked hotel 1898 for my birthday, when we arrived i was given a room upgrade and also a bottle of cava to celebrate. The room was very comfy with a huge bed and different mood lighting. We checked out the outdoor pool which was heated, a big plus as it was December, we also used the Spa which was amazing. The staff are very friendly and i would definitely book this hotel again. The only negative, the drinks were very expensive in the bar 14 euro`s for a cocktail and 7 for a glass of wine. But i wouldn`t let that put you off as there are plenty of bars around....

This is a very special place. I asked the staff to arrange to put a diamond eternity ring I had purchased to give my wife on our 25th wedding anniversary into an ice cube and to serve it in a glass of cava on the rooftop bar. They obliged completely making it a very special stay!...

We stayed here for 2 nights following our cruise. When you have been exploring the city it`s nice just to relax away from the crowds on the rooftop by the pool with a nice cocktil. Also open late in the evening for food and drinks. The location was excellent and the hotel was very comfortable with free wi-fi access throughout the hotel....
