The charming 4* Ashling Hotel is located along the banks of the River Liffey just 100m from the gates of Phoenix Park where you can also enjoy Dublin Zoo. The city centre and O`Connell Street can be quickly reached in just 5 minutes on the Luas tram which stops just a 2 minute walk from the hotel or if you prefer a stroll it takes 20 minutes on foot. The Guinness Storehouse, Jameson Distillery, Smithfield and the National Museum of Ireland are all within a 10 minute walk and little longer will take you to tourist attraction of Kilmainham Gaol. Access to the hotel is made even easier with Heuston Intercity Station a two minute walk away and onsite car parking, for which there is a reasonable charge.
All 226 ensuite bedrooms are decorated in warm and inviting tones and have modern ensuite bathrooms. Amenities include flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi, complimentary mineral water,tea/coffee making facilities, in room safe and hairdryer. Superior and Deluxe rooms also include bathrobes and slippers. BY CAR: Continue along the River Liffey in the direction of Phoenix Park. Once you have passed St James Gate Brewery (the Guinness Factory) take a right turn onto the bridge to take you across the river. Turn left and you are on Parkgate Street. The hotel is situated on the river side of the street.
BY BUS: A regular service runs to and from the hotel. The bus stop is outside the hotel.
BY TRAM: Take the red line LUAS to either Heuston or Museum stop. Either of these stops will take you to within a 2 minute walk of the hotel.
BY TRAIN: From Heuston Intercity Railway Station turn left over the River Liffey. The hotel is in front of you once you are over the bridge.
FROM DUBLIN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: Dublin Bus 747 Airlink Express service takes you from the airport to Heuston Station.

Once again the Ashling has exceeded our expectations. The rooms, staff, bar, all excellent. Breakfast is out of this world with an amazing choice. We shall definately return. Thanks a million x...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Ashling Hotel Dublin. This was an Anniversary Gift from our daughter and son in law and we really enjoyed our two nights stay at the weekend gone past. The Hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful which in turn helped us to enjoy the hotel food and we had a great view from our hotel bedroom. The bedroom was very clean and spacious and although we were on the fifth floor the reception and foyer were only seconds away on the hotel lifts. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking to explore the attractions of Dublin City with the Tram and Buses passing the front door of the hotel every few minutes. I will certainly use this hotel in the future....

The standard of this hotel is excellent from the cleanliness and decor of the rooms and public areas through to the professional and friendly nature of the staff. Not right in the centre of the city but easily walkable within half an hour along the river Liffey. There are also tram stops very close by. A short walk from the national museum, Hueston station, museum of modern art, Jameson distillery and a 15 minute walk to the Guinness storehouse. An excellent hotel. Will definitely stay here again....

Had a lovely stay at this hotel for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. Room was clean and comfortable, great location and fabulous breakfast! Would certainly stay again...
